27th General Assembly held in London

The 27th General Assembly of IUPAP was held from 2 - 4 November, 2011 in London. Hosted by the Institute of Physics, the GA saw delegates from around the world come together to vote on new IUPAP resolutions and members. Delegates also heard talks from a number of prominent scientists and toured the scientific facilities at The Culham Centre for Fusion Energy and STFC's ISIS Neutron and Muon Source. The GA passed sixteen separate resolutions and elected a new slate of IUPAP commission members and a new Executive Committee.
