AC.4. International Commission on Medical Physics - Members

Mission

Medical physics is a branch of physics applied in health care. Accordingly, the International Union of Pure and Applied Physics (IUPAP) and the International Organization for Medical Physics (IOMP, http://www.iomp.org ) have established a formal relationship by recognizing the IOMP as the IUPAP Affiliated Commission AC.4 ‘Medical Physics’

The aims of the AC.4 are
•          to advance medical physics science and practice
•          to strengthen the interaction with other branches of physics
•          to foster the educational and professional development of medical physicists
•          to promote the highest quality medical services for patients.
